LittleGems is a childcare service situated in the heart of Dartford in a very secure and well kept environment. We are conveniently located for people living or working in the area and for those commuting to London. We offer child care for children ages birth to 8 years of age.
Our mission is to help nurture little minds to be confident, innovative and compassionate. We encourage good manners and positive interactions with their peers and adults alike.
We believe kids learn through play. At LittleGems Childcare Services, we offer creative, and educational indoor and outdoor activities to develop their inquisitive minds and motor skills through self-expression and investigation.
As part of learning, we run numerous types of day trips across London and Kent. These include visits to the park for sports activities and picnics, visits to toddler groups and libraries to listen to stories and take part in activities with a larger group; farm visits to explore nature and learn about animals, museum visits to learn about their surroundings, history and many more. We also run daytrips where they get to engage with and explore different types of occupations. We have held day trips at the post office, aviation experience, Legoland, fire station, and others alike.
We provide healthy meals to and cater to a range of dietary requirements and allergies. We ensure a high standard of hygiene and prioritise the health of our children in all we do. We clean and disinfect every area of the Nursery, including toys and equipment daily to ensure a germ free and safe environment for our children.
Our childcare service is a “home away from home” setting allowing the children to easily transition from their home into our nursery. Also, we work closely with local schools and the council to make your child’s transition into school as smooth as possible.

Breakfast Club
At LittleGems Breakfast Club, we offer a relaxed start to the day where the children can enjoy a selection of healthy meals. We get the children to school by 8:35am
After School Club
Following safe pick ups from allocated schools, our After School Club features lots of engaging activities and interactions with their peers and healthy evening meals
Baby Room
Our baby room is designed to allow our youngest children space to develop and rest, in a secure setting that is stimulating for emotional and educational wellbeing.
Outdoor Activities
Our outdoor activities vary from riding bicycles, building sandpits, to playing football games. We also include arrange visits to interesting places such as farms, parks, fire stations, museums, bus and train stations
Onsite Chef
At LittleGems, our healthy meals are made freshly on site using fresh foods, fruit and vegetables by our own chef. We accommodate dietary and cultural food requirements where we plan with you and the nursery chef
Annual Events
Celebrations are important to us. We celebrate birthdays, mums day, dads day, multicultural celebrations, drama events, annual discos and outings. We try our best to accommodate different religions and beliefs
